Kit has been kicking her heels up since childhood, and pursued the stage throughout college at the University of Minnesota. While receiving her B.A. in Theatre Arts she discovered her passion for low brow and cabaret performance through studying the Margolis Method, mime, circus, Commedia Dell’arte, and Lecoq physical theatre. You may also see her performing as her masculine alter-ego, Ned.
She continues her learning with aerial circus arts training such as Lyra, silks and pole. She tends to take on a multitude of creative activities not limited to performing. She is the co-producer of Clothing Optional Cabaret, a queer Twin Cities based ensemble that creates innovative drag, burlesque and performance art.
When she is not rehearsing, Kit is an avid crafter, costume maker and outdoor enthusiast. She is always looking for more opportunities to dance enthusiastically in public places.
